Georges Beyaert was the son of the Kortrijk printer-editor Eugène Beyaert. He took over his father’s company, mostly using its original name. He was the printer of Loquela and the catholic Gazette van Kortrijk (1876-1914). He also published the Davidsfonds editions of "Hiawatha" (1886) and Gezelle’s translation of "Goddelijke Beschouwingen" (Reflections of the Devine).
