Emiel Minne

Tielt 02.07.1827 - Bruges 19.08.1879

Emiel Minne, son of Constantinus-Joannes Minne, shop keeper, and Anna-Catharina Ameye, started teaching at the college in Tielt in 1848. On September 7th, 1850 he started as a teacher at the college of Saint Louis in Bruges. He was ordained priest in Bruges on September 20th, 1851. From August 15th ,1854 till September 11th, 1878 he was the principal of the college of Saint Louis. He subsequently became honorary canon of the cathedral in Bruges (26.02.1866) and pastor of the beguinage in Bruges (11.09.1878).
