Letters from all over the world
Gezelle remained constantly in contact with his network through thousands of letters. The letters came from family, friends, acquaintances, missionaries and other correspondents. They brought news from nearby but also from distant regions. As Gezelle was a real Anglophile, he had a lot of English contacts. The Gezelle Archives preserve at least 700 English letters.
