The Flower as Femme Fatale
The students used Gezelle's poem The Cockchafer and the Flower as the starting point for their animations.

In the poem De Averulle and de Blomme (The Cockchafer and the Flower) the flower is the femme fatale that leads the Cockchafer to its downfall. The universal motive of the "femme fatale" in the poem is source of inspiration. In the animation, a Gezelle figure goes back in time and encounters the femme fatale in various historical settings.
