Gezelle kept constantly in touch with his network through thousands of letters. The letters came from family, friends, acquaintances, missionaries and other correspondents. They brought news from nearby but also from distant regions from all over the world. As Gezelle was a real Anglophile, he had a lot of English contacts. The Gezelle Archives preserve at least 700 English letters. Have a look at the map to locate Gezelles network and see where the correspondents wrote from.
