Victor Goethals

After his priestly ordination in Bruges on June 15th, 1889, Victor Goethals, son of Constantinus Goethals, farm labourer, and Rosalia De Vrye, was appointed teacher at the college of Saint Louis in Bruges on October 3rd, 1889. As such he was involved in the establishment and editorial team of the Biekorf magazine. In 1905 he moved to Kortrijk where he became curate. Later on he was parish priest in Assebroek and Wervik. He resigned on March 22th, 1933 and stayed in Kortrijk.
