Franciscus Mervillie

Franciscus Mervillie was the son of Josephus Mervillie, carpenter, and Amelia Le Cocq. He was a teacher at the College of Saint Louis in Bruges from February 7th, 1872 till September 17th, 1879. He was ordained priest in Bruges on May 25th, 1872 and became curate there (17.09.1879) and parish priest (23.05.1893). On January 17th, 1906 he was appointed pastor-dean in Torhout.
